I’m not usually one for opening up. I’m just going to rant about a few basic things. Most likely, there won’t be any relation to one from another.
I have yet to find a Mayday Parade song that I can’t relate to in some way. I didn’t think I’d ever like this band. Truthfully, because I never gave them a chance. I never actually listened to them. I just judged them by the people I knew that listened to them. I don’t regret it, not listening to them before. I probably wouldn’t have related to the songs so much if I had started listening to them during a brighter part of my life. If you were to have me put my ipod on random and have me stop at a Mayday Parade song, I could probably tell you a story that went with that song.
Everyone seems to be getting married and having babies this summer. If the ladies aren’t about to pop, they’ve just realized they’re pregnant. Is this some new fad? I sure hope not. I remember when it was rare for a teenager to be pregnant. It used to be a real shocker. Now, it’s rare to see a young female who isn’t pregnant. The shocker now days is when you have a teenage daughter who hasn’t at least had a pregnancy scare. It really makes me not want to have kids. I used to want kids. But now, I think about my daughter getting pregnant. Or my son getting a girl pregnant, whether it’d be some random girl he just met, or a long term girlfriend. I don’t see myself as a grandparent.
I miss the cartoons I watched growing up. There are so many stupid tv shows now. They seem to just get worse with every new series. I don’t fucking understand it. I actually learned things from the cartoons I watched. There isn’t anything to learn from the television shows airing now. It’s just stupid. I can’t think of anything else to say about it besides it’s stupid. Hah.
I had planned on continuing, but I have things I need to get done before Jade has a fucking cow. Psh, women.
